SHUTDOWN
We were responsible for ‘the mongrel’ main character for SHUTDOWN, a TOP down Sci-fi wave shooter
Game ready main character
Our client privided us concepts and the plan for the main character. We were then able to produce a fully rigged, game ready version that we helped implement into the game.
Designed for top down
We made sure to focus on features of the character that would stand out and look nice towards the top half of the model as we knew we would mainly be seeing them from a top down angle.
Using the unreal skeleton
One challenge we had was making sure ‘THE MONGREL’ worked with the vanila Unreal skeleton. This was to make sure we didnt have to create/ edit any animations that we would want to use from the Unreal Marketplace.
It was a challenge because we had to make sure the character felt much larger and bulky then a normal man. In the end we got a really great result!
